Q: What is a gantry milling machine? What kind of workpieces is it suitable for?

A: The CNC gantry milling machine adopts a rigid gantry frame structure with ultra-wide bed and heavy load capacity. It is specially designed for large, heavy and super-long workpieces. It can complete milling, drilling, boring, tapping and countersinking. With an angle head, it supports 5-sided one-clamping processing.

Applicable Industries : Automotive molds, construction machinery, wind power equipment, shipbuilding, pressure vessels, new energy equipment, large frames, box parts, flange plates and welded parts.

 

Q: What material and processing technology are adopted for the machine castings?

A: All key machine bed and gantry castings are made of HT300 high-strength cast iron with resin sand molding process. The castings undergotwo-times stress relief aging treatment to completely eliminate internal casting stress. It effectively prevents machine deformation and precision attenuation during long-term operation, ensuring excellent rigidity, stability and long-lasting machining accuracy of the equipment.

 

Q:Fixed beam, moving beam and moving column gantry machine, how to choose?

A:1. Fixed Beam (Recommended): High rigidity, stable precision, good cost performance, suitable for most standard workpieces.

2. Moving Beam: Flexible Z-axis height, suitable for workpieces with large height difference.

3. Moving Column: Fixed worktable, smaller floor space, perfect for ultra-long and super-heavy workpieces.

 

Q: What spindle configuration options are available?

A: The machine adopts BT50 spindle taper, and supports multiple spindle drive options: direct-coupled spindle, belt-driven spindle and gearbox spindle to meet different requirements of high-speed finishing and heavy-duty rough machining.

 

Q: What rail configuration does your machine adopt?

A: Our gantry milling machine adopts 2 linear rails + 1 hard rail hybrid configuration, perfectly balancing high-speed finishing efficiency and heavy-duty rough cutting stability. The guide rails adopt Taiwan HIWIN brand, and the ball screws are equipped with Japanese THK brand with C3 precision grade, ensuring high precision, low wear and long-term stable operation.

 

Q: What CNC control systems are available?

A: We support international mainstream systems: Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and high-cost performance domestic systems. Imported systems are for high-precision mold processing; domestic systems are stable and easy to operate for general mechanical processing.
